Death’s Parking Spot

BRINGGG! BRRINNGG!

The bell went off at the slaughter house

Time to die

“Good Day Sunshine”

Depression’s shadow has begun her eclipse

Her cold breath stifles over my neck

Not in my eyes sight

Her air sweeping up dark memories

Suicides ballad now a reprise

A catchy chorus

Flow into the bank at the end of the stream

Follow the Dao, the way of things

Little solider stuck in my head demanding perfection

Stuck frozen unable to wrestle with dissatisfaction

Not identifying and caring for the parts of your own vehicle

Afraid of confusing the break for the gas

Remaining eternally parked

Unlicensed

Incapable of holding the wheel of life

No co-captain in an automobile

Must the journey be done alone if the stars illuminate the road in the darkest of night?
