As She Did Before
Sweet tree, sweet empty tree
Bareness where your leaves have fallen
Portals open where life once was
Sweet death in the trunks fingertips
Life is budding amongst your brothers and sisters
I cling to where your bareness lives, that portal transporting me
My own potential has yet to fully blossom
Perhaps I am budding, I know my roots
Seeping
Entangling intestines in the origins or my organs
The language of my lineage
Turn around and find myself comforted by your empty branches
Maybe I have not fallen petrified and will bloom
Charmed by the colors, shades, and hues the seep between where life once was
The flowers grow too, as she did once before
Bud as she did before
Drink as she did before
Bloom as she did before
Radiate as she did before
Sway as she did before
Wilt as she did before
Be a comfort, a memory as she was before
A stamp of time as she was before
Die as she did before
and die again after having lived as she did before
Living in her maker
Here I sit amongst the fields wanting to be sniffed, plucked, and kept secret
holding secrets, exuding truth
Letting the sun burn all rot and disease inside of me
A flower cannot stop the seasons from changing, so she becomes the change
Blooming and wilting again and gain
Tis not a thankless effort, for peace is priceless, preserved in the Lords terrariums
Plant your seed there so you may sacredly bloom and die
